Angry Birds Space for Android Update Brings 20 New Fiery Levels

Rovio has just delivered a new update for the latest installment of the Angry Birds franchise, Angry Birds Space. Although the teaser says new content will be available this fall, it looks like the update is now live in the Google Play Store.

The latest version of Angry Birds Space for Android devices comes with 20 new levels centered around Mars and NASA’s Curiosity Rover. Dubbed Red Planet, the new episode introduces the brand new astronaut pig, but also some bonus levels.

Check out the full changelog of the update: “Blast through 20 fiery levels on the red planet, plus two antenna egg levels! Dodge explosive volcanoes and fire asteroids! Say hello to the brand new astronaut pig! Find three hidden rovers and landers to open special bonus levels and discover more about the NASA missions!”

Angry Birds Space 1.3.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 1.6 and up. Check it out here.
