As expected, AT&T and Samsung have just started the rollout of the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade for Galaxy Note.

The smartphone can now be upgraded via Samsung Kies desktop software. Keep in mind that this is an improved Android 4.0 ICS upgrade that features a Premium Suite enhancing productivity and usability.

Some of the exclusive features in the Premium Suite upgrade from Samsung include S Note, S Pen, S Memo and My Story.

With S Note, users will be able to take advantage of enhanced productivity and further extend the S Pen capabilities.

It also enables users to import and annotate a PDF file and convert dictated or hand-written memos to text. This is possible with the Continual Voice Input and Handwriting-to-Text features.

The S Memo widget enables one touch access to all features of the application, such as typing, writing, voice dictation, search and adding an image.

My Story app, which is also available for download via Google Play store, allows users to create “digital birthday cards, thank you notes and sympathy notes by combining hand written notes, video content, photos, text and voice,” with the help of the S Pen.

According to Samsung, a new productivity feature, called Shape Match, enables users to make hand-drawn shapes, including circles, squares, lines and arrows.

Formula Match is another exclusive application available for ICS-based Galaxy Note. It recognizes and completes complex math formulas. With Knowledge Search, users can quickly research information from a hand-written note via Wolfram Alpha database.

Last but not least, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich for Samsung Galaxy Note brings new features and capabilities, such as NFC and Android Beam. In addition, Galaxy Note users will be provided with better multitasking through the Recent Apps menu, the Face Unlock security feature and data usage monitoring.
