Galaxy Note, the largest Android smartphone in the world at the moment, is expected to get a taste of the Ice Cream Sandwich operating system today.
Moreover, in addition to the actual platform upgrade, the handset is also expected to receive a series of additional features from Samsung, all included in a so-called “Premium Suite.”
These new capabilities have been specifically designed for the Galaxy Note to offer better stylus functionality. The package includes S Note, S Memo, and a new My Story app, all coming pre-installed.
Galaxy Note has been a good seller, although it has been seen right from the start as a niche device. Samsung has reported over 7 million units sold to date.
The guys over at CNet got a sneak peek at the update, and those who would like to learn more on what it will bring should head over there for that.
