I hate to be the one coming with the bad news and I'm sure all of you hate to do it too. I have to deliver them though but don't despair because there is a bright side in every bad thing happening.

All the American residents have enjoyed the SkypeOut service without having to pay for it. Now this has changed due to a decision made by eBay, Skype's owner, saying the time of the free domestic calls has ended.

Beginning with January 1st 2007, United States and Canadian citizens will have to pay to make landline and mobile phone calls. Don't worry though because the costs aren't that big if you compare them to what a phone addicted person has to pay when receiving their monthly landline or cellphone bill for unlimited calls, a bill that varies around the sum of 25 $.

The ones knowing they do a lot of calls every day should choose the unlimited yearly calling plan that will cost them 29.95 $, a fair price thinking about what I wrote above. And the good things keep coming probably because they have lots of love for you stateside guys.

What do I mean by that? Well, if you think the 29.95 dollars are too much for the services you will get, then you have the choice to get a major discount and pay a price of only 14.95 $.

Pretty nice of them to offer this kind of discount and if you think a little, you will see there is not such a difference between the old situation when everything was free and the present one when you have to send them an amount of money covering a whole year of unlimited calls, money representing half of the phone bill you will get from any other Internet phone provider.
