If you were looking forward to getting yourself an iPod touch, you might want to consider taking your business to Amazon, as the giant online retailer is now offering two iPods for the price of one. Buy a 32GB iPod touch ($494) and get a 1GB iPod shuffle ($49) for free.

"You qualify for a free 1 GB iPod shuffle with the purchase of this 32 GB iPod touch from Amazon.com. Eligible 1 GB shuffles include the blue, green, silver, and purple. Just add both items to your cart and you will not be charged for the shuffle," the ad reads.

Last week, Apple introduced the 2GB iPod Shuffle for just US$69, dropping the price on its low-end sibling to a much more affordable US$49.

Thanks to the built-in clip, iPod shuffle goes with anything. As Apple themselves say, "clip it to your sleeve, lapel, coin pocket. No matter where you wear it, iPod shuffle speaks volumes about your style," as it comes in four different flavors: blue, green, silver, and purple.

The headphone jack does double-duty as a dock connector. Users simply flip the shuffle upside-down and drop it into the included dock, connect the dock to their Mac or PC for a quick sync and charge. An optional Apple USB power adapter is also available for charge on the go.

"At just $49, the iPod shuffle is the most affordable iPod ever," said Greg Joswiak, at the time Apple was introducing the 2GB shuffle. "The new 2GB model lets music lovers bring even more songs everywhere they go in the impossibly small iPod shuffle," Apple's vice president of Worldwide iPod Product Marketing added.

iPod Shuffle 1GB (US$49) and iPod Shuffle 2GB (US$69) are both currently available for purchase via the Apple Store, while Amazon is selling the 32GB iPod touch for $494 throwing in the 1GB shuffle for nothing. Apple is offering the iPod touch for $499 at their online store.
