A brand new downloadable content pack for Aliens: Colonial Marines is set to appear today, May 7, for PC, PS3, and Xbox 360.

It will give owners of the game access to four all-new maps, as well as fresh customization items for the Xenomorphs.

Aliens: Colonial Marines sparked a huge debate due to its poor quality, but developer Gearbox Software has kept on releasing updates for the game and continued to launch the downloadable content that had been promised for the first-person shooter.

After releasing the Bug Hunt add-on, a new DLC has just been released by the studio for Aliens: Colonial Marines, in the form of the Reconnaissance Pack.

The add-on includes four new multiplayer maps, with three being playable in Team Deathmatch and Extraction, while one is exclusive to the Survivor.

Fresh customization items for Xenomorph players are also available, in the form of new skins, fatalities, and heads.

The DLC is available for purchase by regular Aliens: Colonial Marines players for $9.99/€9.99/800 MS Points, while those who got the Season Pass DLC can download it for free.

The DLC is now live on the Xbox 360 platform and will soon be available for download for the PC and PS3 editions of the game.
