Sega and Gearbox Software have just deployed a brand new trailer for their upcoming Aliens: Colonial Marines tactical shooter, this time showcasing some of its action through a classy cinematic video.

Aliens: Colonial Marines has been a long time coming, with Gearbox Software working on the video game adaptation of the classic sci-fi horror movies for quite a few years.

After confirming last week that the title was delayed once more, the two companies have decided to cheer their fans up with a new cinematic video.

As such, in the ‘Contact’ trailer above, you can see the various levels of a Colonial ship, in which groups of marines try to fend off the different types of aliens, ranging from small facehuggers to much bigger specimens.

The trailer ends with the new autumn, 2012 release period, when Aliens: Colonial Marines will finally make its way onto platforms like the PC, PlayStation 3 or Xbox 360, and possibly the Nintendo Wii U.
