IP surveillance cameras have become increasingly popular in the last few years for businesses as well as for home users, so AirLive launched for the latter an new pan&tilt (PT) cam that is capable of capturing 1080p video at 30fps.

The camera is called the AirCam POE-2600HD and it comes both with an Ethernet port for connecting to the Internet and with an SD card slot.

The latter can be used to record the images captures in areas without Web access (if you find any), using the camera's high-quality 2MP CMOS image sensor, which also support infrared recording up to 15 meters away.

All the images recorded by AirLive latest creation are compressed and stored using the H.264 codec, so these are guaranteed not to take too much room on the SD card installed.

Sadly, AirLive hasn't supplied us with a price for this impressive surveillance cam, but it should be just the thing needed to add a bit of security to your summer cottage.
