News about the upcoming availability of the ZTE Vivacity Android-based smartphone in Europe surfaced last week.

However, it appears that T-Mobile UK will the first European carrier to release the handset, which is expected to arrive in stores by the end of the year.

Although the phone is not available for purchase yet, customers can register their interest on the phone's webpage to receive more details about the upcoming launch of the smartphone.

Those unfamiliar with the T-Mobile Vivacity should know that the handset runs Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system and sports a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen display.

It will probably be delivered with 3G, Bluetooth, microUSB, built-in GPS and Wi-Fi support, as well as microSD card slot for memory expansion.

Obviously, there's no word on the smartphone's price, but T-Mobile UK should offer this one for free on select plans.
