Acer has managed to keep itself extremely busy over the past couple of months, rolling out quite a large number of interesting products targeting various market segments, the latest we've come across being their new H9500 video projector.

The new DLP projection solution offers Full HD support in 16:9 image format, as well as and an advanced lamp technology, providing an impressive level of illumination, namely up to 2000 ANSI lumens, for up to 2500 hours of non-stop lamp functioning life.

Furthermore, it's also interesting to point out that Acer's new projector also delivers a 50000:1 contrast ratio, while the built-in Acer ColorBoost II+ technology featuring an optimised 6-segment colour wheel design will certainly boost the overall image quality the device is capable of providing.

Additionally, the new projector from Acer also offers a True 24p feature, while in the same time packing DynamicBlack technology, designed to provide some pretty impressive black levels at all times, thus pushing the overall image quality to a whole new level.

Plus, the device also packs Acer's proprietary technology for adapting the H9500's settings in order to compensate for the color of the surface the images are projector onto, meaning that one will literally be able to enjoy a good-quality experience regardless of the surface they're projecting onto.

Beside offering some pretty impressive display-related features, the new H9500 projector from Acer is also easy on the eyes, featuring an attractive, rounded design with a “chic white surface with glossy finish” (as the company puts it), plus a sleek black rim around the built-in control pad.

Given its advanced imaging features, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that the brand-new projector from Acer is actually rather expensive, the H9500 selling for somewhere in the vicinity of 2000 Euro, which is a pretty hefty sum, all things considered.
