ASUS definitely managed to put on show one of the biggest exhibitions at this year's CeBIT expo, and it seems one of its products is of the audio variety, namely a set of headphones.

For those that are not entirely up to date with everything going on at this year's CeBIT trade show, there don't seem to be as many new products on display as some may have expected.

Still, some companies managed to set up sizable collections of products, one of them being ASUS.

The outfit delivered ROG-branded products, video cards and, more recently, two Blu-ray devices, a Blu-ray player and an external Blu-ray drive to be exact.

That said, there was a certain other product, a peripheral in this case, that was unleashed alongside those two particular devices.

Specifically, ASUS unveiled a set of active noise canceling headphones, one that goes by the name of NC1.

They a speaker drivers which measure 40 mm and utilize neodymium magnets, while the frequency response is of 16 Hz to 22 KHz.

The ANC (active noise canceling) performance is of up to 18Db, which corresponds to up to 87% active noise canceling.

What's more, a single AAA battery can preserve the PNC (noise isolation) performance for up to 100-hours of operating time.

All these features are packed inside a frame that measures 175 mm x 135 mm x 28 mm and weighs 130g (without touring case).

“A fold-flat and lightweight 130g form factor allows for convenient storage in the included touring case for easy portability,” explains the official press release.

ASUS makes a point of saying that all these specifications may change without notice, but one shouldn't have to worry about this overmuch, considering that availability shouldn't be too far off.

Unfortunately, nothing specific was said on when sales will start or what price interested consumers will have to meet.
