It's been a very busy week at Softpedia, as we posted two reviews, one for Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 and the other for Lego Universe, not to mention a quick look at James Bond Blood Stone 007.

For those that want more reading material, we also posted a Weekend Reading piece about next week's Call of Duty: Black Ops, our regular EndWeekGame article, and a new game diary about Fallout: New Vegas.

Monday was when we saw some surprising details about Call of Duty: Black Ops' Zombie mode, as a video showcased that players will be able to control either John F. Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Fidel Castro or Robert McNamara and battle against the undead horde.

This was also the day when Microsoft dropped the traditional Xbox Live Fall Update, which brought new features, as well as a price increase for the Xbox Live Gold subscription.

The update wasn't so successful, as we found out on Tuesday that many users experienced problems with trying to install or even download the update, effectively being locked out of Xbox Live.

We also found out that the many bugs experienced by Fallout: New Vegas players are caused by the game's huge size, as Obsidian, its developer, revealed that not even a huge team of testers could find all of the glitches in the game.

Wednesday saw another huge surprise drop for Call of Duty fans, as the Dead Ops arcade mode, set to be featured next week in Black Ops, was leaked through a YouTube video which, sadly, was taken down by Activision.

We also heard that Gran Turismo 5 has reached gold status, so manufacturing of the game discs has already commenced at Sony's plants.

On Thursday, Bungie announced that the Rank Cap for Halo: Reach has been lifted, after the players of the futuristic first person shooter completed a landmark 117 million daily and weekly challenges.

This was also the day when Sony decided to subtly mock Microsoft's Kinect system by celebrating its own attempt at motion control in gaming, the EyeToy.

On Friday, Call of Duty fans and Nintendo Wii owners were treated to an impressive array of information, as Treyarch, the studio behind the upcoming game, detailed some of the features the game will have on the Wii.

Sony also proved that it can be supportive of its rivals, and revealed that it wants the Nintendo 3DS to sell a lot of units, in order to get 3D technology in the hands of as many people as possible.
