This week our Softpedia review slate includes the PC version of Shank 2, which offers more side-scrolling brawling, Crush 3D, one of the more innovative titles linked to the Nintendo 3DS, and Victoria II: A House Divided, a strategy game expansion focused on the American Civil War.

We also have continuing Gamer Diaries, one linked to the open-world action and role-playing mix Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, one linked to King Arthur II and another detailing the upcoming big launches of the year.

When it comes to Quick Looks, readers can enjoy two looks at Mass Effect 3, from BioWare and Electronic Arts, one focused on the single player demo and another on the new multiplayer mode, and we also have one for Crusader Kings II.

We also have a Weekend Reading dealing with social games and why they lack the power to capture long-term interest in my case and another about the lack of controller support for PC games.

We also have an EndWeekGame article about our own gaming habits and, as always, we deliver the most important news of the week that passed us by.
