This week we only have two big Softpedia reviews to talk about, one for GoldenEye 007: Reloaded, a port of a remake that fails to make a big impression, and Assassin’s Creed: Revelations, the game which ends Ezio’s story while allowing players to explore Istanbul.

We also have a Quick Look for Sonic Generations, the latest attempt from SEGA to make Sonic relevant, and one for the PC based 3D version of Batman: Arkham City, as powered by Nvidia hardware.

We also have the last of the Gamer Diaries about playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Those who want something more to read can also navigate to the Weekend Reading articles we’ve posted, one about the glut of games that the hardcore player needs to consume during the holiday season and one about hundred hour games and addiction.

Our EndWeekGame article as always details our gaming habits for the weekend.

And we also have a selection of the most interesting news of this week.

Monday a leak talked about the details of the downloadable content that will be delivered for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 while GameStop showed gamers capacities and prices for the Vita branded memory cards from Sony.

Tuesday a new survey from Ubisoft suggested possible locations for the new Assassin’s Creed game while the developers of Serious Sam 3 talked about how good games can battle piracy.

Wednesday Blizzard launched the 4.3 Hour of Twilight patch for World of Warcraft while the just launched 1.2 patch for Skyrim was shown to deliver broken gameplay and backwards playing dragons.

On Thursday we talked about how affected players can get Skyrim back to an older version while Sony released the names of the game that will be included in the UMD Passport program for the PlayStation Vita.

Friday Bethesda talked about how it plans to go about patching Skyrim after the failure of the 1.2 patch while also offering information on the Creation Kit that will arrive in January 2012.
