8StartButton 2.2.1 is now available for download, providing users looking for a Start Menu replacement with even more features on their Windows or 8.1 computer.
As the official release notes state, today’s build comes with a new “File Browser feature in the Start Menu that allows you to quickly browse locally stored items without even closing the menu or launching the built-in Windows File Explorer.”
Start Menu tabs are now unlabeled, developers explained, but they do show an icon displaying the purpose of each tab. This was specifically designed to give more room for upcoming features, they added.
“The registered edition now includes an option to submit error log files during online update check - this option is enabled by default and can be changed in the Settings,” the change log also reveals.
