As if Nintendo's handheld didn't have enough titles already...

A month ago someone asked: "What if these games were on the DS?" like it didn't have enough titles already... The Thing is, with Nintendo you never have enough and 505 Games is here to confirm it, launching two new titles for Nintendo's handheld gaming system as soon as this year.

505 Games is a European video game publisher for all current formats headquartered in Milton Keynes. They are a full price, mid-range and budget price company, releasing games for both PC and consoles. The publisher has recently announced its signing with French developer Creative Patterns, to develop and publish two new titles for Nintendo DS, launching sometime in fall, 2007. 505 Games would no longer publish the controversial horror title Rule of Rose in the UK in November 2006, due to obscene cruelty and brutality scenes.

Ian Howe, 505 Games' Managing Director said: "Finding and signing talented European developers is something we are dedicated to at 505 Games. We are delighted to be working with Creative Patterns to be able to deliver thrilling and innovative Europe-grown talent to the whole of Europe and beyond."

As for Creative Patterns, they are a French development studio, specialized in making games for different platforms, such as the PC, Nintendo handhelds and Flash, also developing related multimedia solutions for specific demands like Click'n Build for construction firms. It is said that they're responsible for the PC game "Ludus Magnus" on PC. However, to be totally honest with you, I've never heard of the game, or it rings too many bells to point one out. The publisher and developer do seem to make a good team, seeing each one's credentials. Let's just see what they come up with in fall.
