Has a capacity of up to 64 GB and the USB 3.0 interface

Super talent ST4 is the name of the newest series of flash drive units, the one that, oddly enough, hasn't been detailed even though it is up for sale.

One would think that a company would list all the assets of their product when they formally release it, but Super Talent didn't do so for some reason.

While the press release clearly says that stocks are ready for delivery, it didn't say just what the drive, or drives, could do beyond the maximum capacity and its/their primary architectural advantage.

In other words, the exact read and write speeds, as well as the presence, or lack, of security features and such were not listed properly.

Based on the few things that Super Talent did mention, however, it can be assumed that the Express ST4, as the line is called, is among the fastest on the market.

The USB 3.0 SuperSpeed interface standard isn't the only reason for this assumption.

What Super Talent also did was implement the 4-channel architecture, which is, obviously, faster than 2-channel builds (and allows for larger capacities too).

As such, much of the 5 Gbps bandwidth of the SuperSpeed interface is bound to be put to work, making this one of the fastest drives on the market.

The exact read and write rates are, alas, not among the details given by the announcement, though a certain video covers that well enough.

No clue how much money prospective buyers need in order to buy one of them either.

The ST4 are a sort of successor to the ST2 that Super Talent released back in August and which has 8 GB, 16 GB and 32 GB capacities.

Their data rates were of 67 MB/s read and up to to 24 MB/s write, which means that ST4, with the 4-channel design, can probably go above that by a fair bit.
