2K Games - BioShock '2 Installations per Game' = False!

Although the BioShock PC configuration file strongly suggests that a PS3 version of the game is also waiting to be developed, 2K Games rushed in answering the "2 installations per game disc" cries. As we discussed two days ago, rumor had it that you can only activate BioShock twice, having to buy the game again after that. As it turns out (and as you might have imagined already) that's not the case. Since we had our doubts, we were not keen on commenting too much on the issue at that point. Here's the clarification,
below.

The 2K Forum reveals the following, thanks to an entry coming from 2K Elisabeth, which I found via Joystiq.com:

"hey guys,

first, let me say this. you DO NOT NEED TO USE THE INTERNET EVERY TIME YOU PLAY THIS GAME. it is only the first time.

second, you can uninstall and reinstall this game, and if, by chance, you have 2 computers you want to simultaneously play this game on, you also can do that.

if by some chance you are reinstalling this game without uninstalling it first, a lot, there is a chance you may have to call securom and get a key, or deactivate some older installations.

but if you upgrade your hardware next week, you'll still be able to play the game. if you revamp your system and need to reinstall bioshock, just uninstall it before you go through the overhaul, and then do your reinstall.

calling it "hardware fingerprinting" is a bit alarmist. we do not transmit any of your data to any companies.

really, the only people who will be concerned about any of these security measures are those who are rapidly putting bioshock on many pcs... if you use the game as you normally do, you won't notice this at all."

Good! We didn't think much of the rumor anyway, blaming it on piracy issues. Well then, had enough of this rumor...? I know I have! Let's start speculating upon that PS3 version now, shall we?

I think Bioshock 2 should have more ways to kill your enemys with plasmids. I mean don't give me wrong I love using the variety of plasmids in Bioshock but sometimes I run out of ways to have fun destroying my enemys. My suggestion is to "give players the ability to fuse plasmids together". For example you combine two plasmids together "incinerate and enrage" to make incinerage. Then you throw a ball of "fiery rage" to maybe a Thuggish Splicer that Splicer then will use their physical contact to catch anyone else around you on fire. It would be like watching the same old hilarious fight from Bioshock the only difference is everyone in the fight will most likely be on fire! And to balance the idea of fused plasmids with single plasmids you can have players pay more eve to use fused plasmids and give players the privilage to buy "additional effects" for single plasmids at the Gatherer's Garden. For example you buy an additional effect for Winter Blast called lets say "solid water" at the Gatherer's Garden which would allow you to freeze multiple enemys in water like shocking multiple enemys with electro bolt in water. although if you fuse Winter Blast with another plasmid the additional effect{solid water} will wear off as long as Winter Blast is fused with another plasmid. Anyway I think this idea of would bring out the variety of powers the player can chose from. I would apreciate it if you would at least talk to your team or studio about this idea. Thanks.

Still loves Bioshock, Matt V.

P.S: If first shooters can have dual wieldable weapons why can't we have dual wielding powers?
