Agile Web Solutions have again updated their password manager for Mac OS X. Free for registered users, 1Password 2.5.13 adds Camino support, following an update release for the latter on behalf of The Camino Project this week. 1Password calls for Mac OS X v10.4 or later. A 30-day trial version is available right HERE.

The latest version of 1Password looks better, feels better, sports a new Wallet feature for credit cards, compatibility with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard, a new Sync to iPhone feature and a bunch of fixes too. Following Apple's updating Safari, the company's standard web browser for its Macs and iPhone, Agile Web Solutions' password manager was having a bit of trouble integrating with the new version of Safari. An update, of course, fixed that.

As such, for those who depend on the Agile Web Solutions' password manager, version 2.5.13 also includes Safari support and is available right now as a free download for owners of 2.4 and earlier versions of the software. Mac users wanting to pick up on the software starting now will have to fork out $39.95.

Using 1Password, Mac and iPhone users can easily manage hundreds of passwords with one master key. People usually keep one or at most two passwords for their login sessions, which, although seems like a good idea at first, doesn't help much when it comes to, let's say, phishing sites. With 1Password you take your passwords with you on a PDA or smartphone, sync between Macs using .Mac etc.

Agile Web Solutions have also introduced the useful app to iPhones as well. The 1Password 2.5.1. password assistant for iPhone is free to registered users and it improves 1Password for iPhone, also adding support for AutoFill in Mobile Safari.

1Password is now compatible with the following browsers and their respective versions: Safari 2.0+, Firefox 1.5+, Camino 1.0+, OmniWeb 5.5+, DEVONagent 2.0+, or NetNewsWire 2.1+
