"The Weakest Link 2008" turned out to be a great hit until now. I-play just released the North American and UK launch of the third game in the series, which should make another strong link in the chain of such releases.

The mobile version of the game tries to bring all the excitement of the hit television show on the user's handset. The rules are basically the same as up to now. The player must answer a series of multiple-choice questions on a variety of subject categories all before time runs out. Moreover, he can choose the questions' range across topics such as entertainment, geography, history, general knowledge, nature and science.

This third version of the game series has a huge number of 1,500 difficult questions and answers. The player can also choose between ten different avatars with great graphics and animated emotion for extra realism.

The long time history of this game has gathered a huge number of fans and is well known by many others. This should give it a head start in its competition with other similar brin challenging mobile games. "This casual, trivia title has had a huge following in Europe and North America already, and successfully combines a stimulating mental challenge with compelling mobile fun, which should make it another hit", said David Gosen, President of I-play.

"I-play has created several fantastic mobile games from our highly popular franchise. Now fans of the show will be able to test their wits and knowledge and by taking on this latest challenge to see if they can escape being 'The Weakest Link", commented Peter Mercier, Head of Mobile, BBC Worldwide.

"The Weakest Link 2008" is based on BBC Worldwide's popular trivia quiz game television show format. There are more than three million viewers in the UK each week and six million in the US, which should build up a considerable audience for these mobile games as well.
