What do you know? Someone thinks of really making something useful out of a game. John Parkes, EMEA Marketing Director at Ubisoft proudly announces the worldwide launching of "Cosmic Family" in mid 2007: "Cosmic Family is a great title for young Wii players and their families, with simple point-and-click controls that will be easy to learn and provide the freedom to navigate wherever players choose to go."

The 15 mini-games found throughout the 5 floors of the rocket-house give children the chance to learn about real-life family values and also help them improve imagination, creativity memory and coordination. The main characters, Mom and Dad Cosmic, Big Sister, the lazy cat, the naughty dog are actual learning tools for the young player, as the family rockets into space to explore the universe and its secrets while doing typical family activities. Players can customize the landscape, play dress-up, grow plants, show care and affection to the little colorful monsters around and much more.

John Parks also stated that "Families will enjoy playing this game together, as it unfolds more like an interactive adventure than a traditional video game." This feature makes it possible for the player to concentrate more on the meaning of the actions taking place during the progress of the game, making it a powerful learning tool.

The simple point-and-click controls make navigation really easy and provide freedom of choice for the player while he constantly interacts with the Cosmic Family. This is all the information at hand for the moment, but we are waiting for further details until the release.
