Activision is quite confident that its upcoming 007 Legends game will finally manage to be a proper interactive homage of the famous book and film series, by presenting six of James Bond’s most famous missions. In this respect, it has just released a video with the first mission in the game, based on the Moonraker movie.

James Bond games from Activision haven’t exactly been best sellers, despite the fact that they tried to exploit the popularity of the classic GoldenEye 007.

With 007 Legends, however, things might change, as Activision and developer Eurocom are trying to pick out the most interesting adventures and put them into a single game.

As you can see in the video above, the first mission is based on Moonraker, the famous movie where Bond goes into space to stop a massive plot against the world.

Besides the Moonraker mission, five more stories will be included in 007 Legends, with the last one being based on the upcoming Skyfall, the newest movie in the franchise.

007 Legends is out on October 16, 2012, for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
