First major content patch for Shadowlands leaked too

We're less than a day away from BlizzCon, the place where we get to learn about Blizzard's upcoming projects, and information about unreleased World of Warcraft content leaked online. It looks like Blizzard plans to announced World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade Classic and the first major content patch for Shadowlands, Chains of Domination.

We don't think The Burning Crusade needs any presentations, so suffice to say that it's one of the best expansions for Blizzard's MMORPG. Originally released in January 2007, The Burning Crusade adds a new area in the World of Warcraft universe, the fel-scarred realm of Outland.

In this expansion, players must stop an invasion of the demonic Burning Legion. Just like World of Warcraft: Classic, anyone who subscribes to World of Warcraft can also play Burning Crusade Classic at no additional cost.

As far as Chains of Domination goes, the leaked information published by Wowhead indicates that the patch will add major gameplay features to World of Warcraft: Shadowlands. First off, players will be able to unlock flying in the Covenants' four domains.

Also, there will be a new 10-boss raid added, Sanctum of Domination, where players will encounter the true Eye of the Jailer. Besting the raid's bosses will allow players to come face-to-face with the Banshee Queen herself.

For those who prefer mythic dungeons over raiding, the information leaked suggests that there will be a new seasonal affix for Mythic Keystones themed around the Jailer's power. We'll just have to wait and see how it will affect the mobs and the players.

Last but not least, new Covenant cosmetic armor sets that any class can wear will be added too. You can see some of them in the pictures above. This year, BlizzCon debuts on February 19 at 2:00 p.m. PST and will end on February 20. All events will be available to watch free, so you're not required to purchase a virtual ticket like in the previous years.
