Microsoft has recently published Windows 10 cumulative update KB4580364 with a few changes that have already been included in other optional updates rolled out earlier this month for the rest of OS versions.

Windows 10 cumulative update KB4580364 is aimed at Windows 10 version 2004 and October 2002 Update (version 20H2), and the biggest change it includes is the addition of Meet Now in the Windows 10 taskbar.

Meet Now is a new feature powered by Skype and which was announced earlier this year by Microsoft. Meet Now allows users to set up quick meetings online without the need for an account, and thanks to Windows 10 integration, this is possible right from the desktop, even without setting up Skype.

“Earlier this year we introduced Meet Now in Skype. Meet Now makes it easy to connect with anyone in as little as two clicks for free and each call can last up to 24 hours. Today, we’re excited to share that we will be extending this capability in Windows 10 by bringing Meet Now right to the taskbar. In the coming weeks, you will be able to easily set up a video call and reach friends and family in an instant by clicking the Meet Now icon in the taskbar notification area. No sign ups or downloads needed,” Microsoft announces.

Next Patch Tuesday on November 10

Needless to say, the new cumulative update also includes a series of other improvements, and Microsoft itself explains that it also resolved a bug that caused some devices to stop responding after using a pen for several hours. In other words, if you rely on your pen to work with a touch-capable device on Windows 10, the experience overall should now be smoother after installing this update.

This update is a preview for the next Patch Tuesday release for Windows 10 version 2004 and 20H2 which is due on November 10.
