Microsoft has released a new Windows 10 build to participants in the Windows Insider program as the company continues work on the next OS feature update due in the fall.

As compared to the previous builds, this new release doesn’t come with the same big number of improvements, though there still are changes worth trying.

Microsoft Edge, for example, is evolving, and this new build comes with refinements to the learning tools bundled into the browser. There are now additional tools to adjust the UI to your liking, and Microsoft says that users can also change the color in which the Past of speech should be highlighted.

Fluent Design evolution

The PDF toolbar can now be launched by simply hovering at the top of the UI, and Microsoft has also included a new consent box for saving Autofill data.

“Microsoft Edge seeks your permission each time to save your passwords and card details for Autofill purposes. We have come up with improved design and string changes to the consent notification pop-up to improve discoverability and provide clarity on the value of saving this information. The changes include introducing password and payment icons, improved messaging, and highlighting of options. One interesting update would be the cool micro-animations for the new password and payment icons,” the company says.

With this build, the software giant also continues its Fluent Design treatment and Edge browser thus receives the first implementation of shadows in a small set of controls.

There is also a new Windows HD color page under Display Settings which lets you configure HDR setups. This obviously comes in handy to those who want to benefit from the full potential of their devices’ HD Color capabilities.

Just like with every new build, this one comes with several other general changes and improvements, but also with known bugs and issues, and you can check them out in full in the box after the jump.
