The Molasses Flood, the independent studios behind The Flame in the Flood roguelite, has just announced that their next game, Drake Hollow is coming to PC on October 1 via Steam and Microsoft Store.

After a successful launch on Xbox One, Drake Hollow is taking on the largest and most popular gaming platform: PC. Drake Hollow is a cooperative action village-building game set in The Hollow, a blighted mirror of our world.

Players must protect the village and local folk from a menagerie of feral beasts, all while helping them maintain their camps. Either solos or with friends, players can explore the world of Drake Hollow, which is dynamically generated and comprised of islands.

Hundreds of thousands of Drake Hollow players on Xbox have had a chance to experience something pretty unique in the world of games: the opportunity to care for something other than yourself. Our aim was to create a game experience that brims with heart, is both musically and visually enticing, and has at its core rock-solid systems-based gameplay. We hope players find Drake Hollow to be as fun and unique as we designed it to be!” said Forrest Dowling, CEO and Creative Director for The Molasses Flood.

One of the game's mechanics allows players to set up supply routes to bring essentials back to camp while keeping the Drakes entertained and happy. Players will have a wide range of weapons at their disposal, including tennis rackets and nail guns.

You'll be traveling from region to region, season to season, taking the Drakes and their village with you. Each region in the game is over a square mile of territory to explore, dynamically generated, and populated with each passing season.

If you think you have what it takes to help the Drakes and take back The Hollow, don't forget to wishlist Drake Hollow on Steam.
