Galaxy Note 7 will come with an upgraded TouchWiz

Samsung is expected to release its next flagship on August 2, and by the looks of things, as the date approaches, more and more leaks surface online. The latest regards the TouchWiz UX on top of Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 that should grace the screens of the upcoming Galaxy Note 7.

Samsung's TouchWiz UX is featured on many smartphones released by the company, and it's quite appreciated for the way it improves the user experience and adds extra features. The South Korean giant periodically upgrades the TouchWiz UX with more useful features to add value to the overall user experience.

A video showcasing the next update to TouchWiz has been posted on YouTube by Samsung.HDBlog, via SamMobile, and it details the new features found in the upcoming version, which will be available on the Galaxy Note 7.

The new version of TouchWiz UX has a simpler interface

The new version of TouchWiz UX will come with a clean and simple interface, together with multiple tools for customizing various elements inside the UX. Users are even able to add icon packs for customizing the interface. Then, the notification bar has suffered some design changes, and the settings menu can now spread out the menus based on various elements.

Samsung's Galaxy Note 7 is expected to come with the updated version of TouchWiz UX, on top of its Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The smartphone should also sport a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with dual-curved edges and 1440 x 2560 pixel resolution. It's quite unclear whether Samsung will also launch a flat variant of the handset.

Note 7 is said to provide 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. Its rear camera capacity should reach 12MP, with 5MP on the front. It should also have a really powerful battery of 4,000mAh whereas an iris scanner and fingerprint reader are also expected to be packed.
