Ubisoft is determined to turn things around for Ghost Recon Breakpoint, its most recent release, which didn't win too many fans at launch. True to its promise, the French developer is trying to fix and salvage what it can to make the game enjoyable for those who choose Tom Clancy's franchise to entertain themselves.

As such, Ghost Recon Breakpoint is going to get a major patch later this month. The update will address lots of issues, but it will also bring some long-awaited improvements. For example, Night Vision will receive some enhancements, and the Stamina for PvP will be rebalanced after it was buffed in a previous update.

Another good news is that players who previously lost their Thermal / Night Vision will get it back after loading their save. The same goes for those who previously lost their Water Canteen or Binoculars.

The sharpshooter exploit with DMR rifles will be addressed in all modes: PvP, Raid, and PvE. Don't laugh, but the coughing sounds players could hear while in Erewhon have been toned down. Also, enemies will no longer shout in pain after being shot in the head.

More importantly, the AI behavior has been improved. For example, if enough NPCs die at a single spot, they will stop rushing the player and will get into cover more often than before. Ubisoft also modified the vanish rules so that NPCs will stay in the fight if they are close enough to the player.

Last but not least, the upcoming patch will add multiple levels of zoom to the Digital Scope. Along with everything mentioned above, Ubisoft announced that the Terminator Live Event will be coming to Ghost Recon Breakpoint soon. Unfortunately, no ETA or details have been revealed, so we'll just have to wait and see what's this all about.
