After cancelling the beta of its newly revealed multiplayer Ghost Recon Frontline following fans backlash, Ubisoft is trying to improve its other multiplayer game in the same Ghost Recon universe, Breakpoint.

The French company announced this year a major update for Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint is set to arrive on November 2 on all platforms. Dubbed Operation Motherland, the update will bring a lot of new content that should make the game slightly more interesting for those who’d like to try out other modes.

In Operation Motherland, players will help Karen Bowman and the outcasts liberate the island of Auroa which is at the center of an upcoming global conflict. More importantly, the update adds a brand-new faction of enemies, The Bodarks, who will do everything to block the Ghosts’ progress.

As expected, the update brings new weapons including the M110, the ACR and the SR-1 as well as a new enemy faction, cosmetic gear and Russian vehicle skins in Maria’s Shop. As far as the new modes included in the update Ubisoft revealed that Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint: Operation Motherland will feature the Conquest mode.

With Conquest Mode, each mission will have an impact on the world dynamic, such as increasing Outcast patrols, decreasing enemy presence or deactivating drone swarms, offering new tactical options to players.

One of the most popular gameplay features in the game, “optical camo” is making a comeback with Operation Motherland. The optical camo will be available with Conquest mode, and it will allow players to remain invisible to enemies until a certain distance. Also, the more a player progresses in the game, the more effective the camouflage is.

Once the optical camo is unlocked, players will also be able to enjoy it in the Story mode. To make the Conquest Mode more interesting for players, Ubisoft raised the maximum XP level to 99. Of course, skill points can also be used to increase weapon mastery and focus on a preferred playstyle.
