Goblinz, the studio and publisher behind Legend of Keepers, has just announced its game will leave Early Access on April 29. Besides launching on PC (via Steam, GOG, Epic Game Store), Legend of Keepers will also be available on Nintendo Switch on the same day.

We had the chance to spend some time with the game, so if you're interested to know what's this all about, you can read our Legend of Keepers preview. Suffice to say, the game seems to be a hit with over 100,000 players on Steam Early Access, so you can't be wrong if you're into turn-based strategy games.

Still, Legend of Keepers is much more than just a traditional turn-based RPG. The game mixes elements of dungeon-crawling, roguelite, and dungeon management, which turns the action up a few notches.

Unlike other games in the same genre, Legend of Keepers lets you play as a Dungeon Master in a world overrun with heroes. You will join a ragtag of grisly creatures charged with defending the dungeons from meddling do-gooders. The main goal of the game is to obliterate the so-called heroes and protect the company's treasures.

Throughout the game, you will be able to hire monsters, manager employees, and strategically place your traps. More importantly, each run will be different, although you will be able to keep some of the Master's bonuses between runs.

Legend of Keepers is all about knowing how to better manage your resources between the different phases. During the Dungeon Phase, you can plan your defense against a group of adventurers. You can check their stats and resistances, then place the best traps and monsters to defeat them.

In the next phase, you'll be able to sit back and watch how good your strategy really is, and whether or not you'll be able to crush those heroes. When a group of adventurers will trigger a trap they will take damage, but when they encounter a group of monsters that you previously positioned in your dungeon, then a turn-based will start.

Those who already own Legend of Keepers should expect new game modes (Ascension and Endless), even more content, and other gameplay features at launch. Legend of Keepers is now available for purchase via Steam and other digital distribution platforms for $18 / €18.
