Great news for Total War fans, as SEGA has just announced Total War: Warhammer III has a new release date. After delaying the game two months ago, the publisher revealed today that the third installment in the Total War: Warhammer saga will arrive on February 17, 2022.

More importantly, the game will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass for PC. Along with the release data and the partnership with Microsoft, SEGA announced the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack, which be offered as bonus to all early adopters.

The Race Pack gives players access to the Ogre Kingdoms faction and their two Legendary Lords – Greasus Goldtooth and Skrag the Slaughterer, which can be played in the grand campaign.

Within the campaign the Ogre Kingdoms wage war from their nomadic camps deep within the Mountains of Mourn. They excel at bombarding the enemy with long-range firepower before rushing through their broken ranks with a devastating charge from their formidable cavalry.

To become and early adopter and gain access to the Ogre Kingdoms Race Pack, players must order Total War: Warhammer III in advance, or buy it during the first week on sale. Xbox Game Pass members who will be able to play the game for free, can purchase the pack separately from the Microsoft Store.

SEGA has prepared something nice for those who like to collect swag. Two physical special editions for Total War: Warhammer III will be available for purchase. The Day One Edition, available February 17, comes with a double-sided poster of the Warhammer III campaign map and a set of Chaos Icon stickers.

The Limited Edition, available on the same day, comes with an Embossed Metal Case. Sadly, there will be no physical Collector’s Edition available for Total War: Warhammer III due to the global health crisis and its impact on other industries.
