If you've been waiting for Cris Tales to drop early this year, you'll be disappointed to hear that the game has been delayed by a few months. The launch date of the gorgeous JRPG has been pushed back to July, but at least there's a demo out for those who'd like to play it on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.

Publisher Modus Games has just announced that the time-traveling JRPG Cris Tales is launching this July on Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC (via Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Stadia) for £34.99 / €40 / $40.

Along with today’s news, Modus Games released a brand new trailer that showcases some of the locales that Crisbell, the game's protagonist, and her unique pals will be exploring during their time-traveling journey.

If you've never heard about Cris Tales yet, here is a quick rundown of the upcoming Japanese role-playing game. First off, you'll be hopping eras throughout the game, as the past, present, and future will be brought together on one screen. Secondly, you'll be able to use Crisbell’s ability to slip between time periods to both aid citizens across Crystallis’ kingdoms and perform surprise attacks on enemies.

Throughout her journey, Crisbell must make use of her power to shape the different eras while gathering allies that will hopefully help in her quest to save her magical world from the evil that threatens it.

Cris Tales can be wishlisted on Steam, but there's also a Collector's Edition available for purchase for $99.99 / €99.99. Cris Tales Collector's Edition contains a 60-page art book, a Matias Plush, 4 enamel character pins, 3 character stickers, 2 lithographic art prints, a “peek-a-boo” game sleeve, a collector's box, and a digital download that includes 4 desktop wallpapers, 8 phone wallpapers, and 10 character avatars.
