Keep your taskbar organized with this simple application

If you’re like me and have tons of apps pinned to the taskbar, you certainly know that keeping things organized isn’t necessarily the easiest part of the daily routine.

And the more time you spend working, the more icons are eventually pinned to the taskbar, in which case everything becomes a little corner of chaos.

But it’s our chaos, so in theory, we’re still able to find what we’re looking for in a matter of seconds.

This little app that someone has created and published on GitHub, however, makes everything substantially easier to use.

And it’s all because it allows users to group icons into folders that can be pinned to the taskbar, so overall, you end up with a cleaner and more organized desktop.

The app comes with the essential feature package, so it supports vertical and top taskbars too, it can work with multiple monitors, and has no problem if you configured the taskbar to automatically hide.

Should become a default a Windows feature

The program is completely free and doesn’t collect any user data, the developer guarantees, and you can check out more information on the project’s GitHub page here.

Needless to say, this is the kind of application that should eventually become a feature of Windows 10 from the very beginning, as grouping taskbar icons would definitely come in handy to so many people out there.

The taskbar itself hasn’t evolved too much lately, despite getting new icons and a facelift thanks to the addition of new themes in Windows 10, but in terms of functionality, Microsoft has more or less ignored this little part of the operating system.

Fortunately, apps like the one I’m highlighting today helps deal with this shortcoming, so head over to the link above to download the latest version and give it a shot right away.
