Lenovo has officially taken the wraps off the ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 this week at CES, and just as expected, the device comes with some pretty impressive specs.

The Gen 10 version is impressive, to say the least, though it goes without saying it’s priced at a premium. But more on that later, so let’s see what this laptop is all about.

First and foremost, it comes with a 14-inch display that can be ordered in various configurations, depending on the resolution and the brightness that you want to get. Furthermore, Lenovo is also offering both LCD and OLED, so at the end of the day, the new ThinkPad X1 Carbon can be had in no less than seven different screen configurations.

Unsurprisingly, the laptops are equipped with all kinds of connectivity options, including not only Thunderbolt 4, but also HDMI and even nano-SIM for on-the-go Internet access. Bluetooth 5.2 is also offered, and so is Wi-Fi 6E.

To go on sale in two months

Power comes from Intel vPro 12th Gen Intel Core processors, so in theory, the new ThinkPad X1 should be up to the task no matter if you want to play some games or work on it. Of course, it’s a productivity workhorse, and given it can also be ordered with touch support, it’s obviously ready to make the most of Windows 11 as well.

Because yes, the new laptop comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, but this isn’t necessarily a surprise given Microsoft and Lenovo have long been best buddies.

The device packs a 57Wk battery, but more important is that it also supports fast charging with a 65W input.

As said, getting the new Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 10 isn’t necessarily cheap. The device will cost at least $1,639, and of course, it gets more expensive as you upgrade its specs. It will become available in March this year.
