Almost the perfect month for sports enthusiasts

While September was one of the busiest months when it comes to game releases, October shapes up to be the perfect month for sports enthusiasts. With at least three high-profile sports games coming out next month, those who love playing their favorite sports on a gaming platform will surely find something on their tastes.

FIFA 22 is the first major release of the month because it’s set to launch on October 1 on all platforms. We’ll have to wait a few days for the next days to come out, but October 5 is going to be a big day for many indie developers: Exophobia (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch), Jett: The Far Shore (PC, PlayStation 4/5), Vagrus: The Riven Realms (PC), Hell Let Loose (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), BPM: Bullets Per Minute (PlayStation 4, Xbox One), Alan Wake Remastered (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), and Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch).

Ubisoft’s sixth major installment in the Far Cry series is scheduled for release on October 7, followed by Nintendo’s Metroid Dread, and Tetris Effect: Connected (Switch). The open-world MMORPG Book of Travels will enter Steam Early Access on October 11, while the hotly anticipated Back 4 Blood is drops on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 12.

We have two very different games coming out on October 14: The Riftbreaker (PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S), and Aeon Must Die (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch). SWERY’s next game, The Good Life arrives on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on October 15.

On the same day we have three other very important games releases: Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), NHL 2022 (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), and Crysis Remastered Trilogy (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch.

We’re only going to wait until October 19 for the next game releases: Into The Pit (PC, Xbox One), Inscryption (PC), and They Always Run (PC). October 21 will be even busier for the gaming industry, as four new titles are expected to be released on PC and consoles.

One of them, Sands of Aura is an Early Access title set to arrive on PC on October 21, while the rest are full-fledged releases: Echo Generation (PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S), Resident Evil 4 VR (Quest 2), and Tandem: A Tale of Shadows (PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch).

Horror fans will be pleased to know that the next chapter in The Dark Pictures Anthology, House of Ashes is coming to PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 22.

One of the most anticipated games of the year, Guardians of the Galaxy is scheduled for release on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on October 26. Although it’s not as big as the Marvel’s universe, Darkest Dungeon has redefined the strategy turn-based genre. We’re very excited for Darkest Dungeon 2 Early Access, which is coming to Epic Games Store on October 26.

And before the day is over, two other games are expected to drop: Solar Ash (PC, PlayStation 4/5) and The Unliving, a Steam Early Access title. Ubisoft’s Riders Republic, a game aimed a extreme sports enthusiasts arrives on PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Google Stadia on October 28, the same day that Microsoft and Square Enix launch Age of Empires 4 (PC) and Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars (PC, PlayStation 4, Switch), respectively.

Last but not least, two very different games, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water (PC, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Switch) and Mario Party Superstars (Switch) will be coming out on October 28.
