Sony is adding new titles to its PlayStation Now every month, and October is no exception to the rule. However, this time around subscribers will be getting some GOTY material, not just good or decent games.

The highlight of the PlayStation Now October lineup is, of course, The Last of Us II, the game that won so many awards last year. But that’s not the only important title joining PlayStation Now in October. There are six other game that will be available to those who pay for a subscription, including Desperados III, Fallout 76, Amnesia: Collection, Final Fantasy VIII Remastered, Yet Another Zombie Defense, and Victor Vran: Overkill Edition.

All seven titles announced today will be available on PlayStation Now starting October 5. They will not be available forever, although Sony did not mention when they will leave PlayStation Now. Well, with one exception: The Last of Us II will be available until January 3, 2022.

One other thing important thing related to The Last of Us II is aimed at PS5 players. Those who managed to get their hands on the hard to come by PlayStation 5 will be able to download the game’s PS5 performance patch too for an enhanced gameplay experience.

Also, for those who can’t wait until tomorrow, at least one title, Victor Vran: Overkill Edition is already available in the PlayStation Now library in Europe, so you can go ahead and download it now if you’re eligible.

Keep in mind that certain games on PlayStation Now may be made available in the library on a limited-time basis only, just like The Last of Us II, so make sure to play them before they leave the service. Also, some of the PlayStation Now games might not be on par with the original versions of the same titles.
