14 DAY TRIAL // After reviving The Division 2 thanks to the continuous support of the community, Ubisoft announced today the game will receive two major updates this year. Both Season 10 and Season 11 will continue to develop the story through introducing new Manhunt targets.
Also, the new mode introduced in Title Update 15 received a lot of positive feedback, so Ubisoft decided to add new difficulty options via Title Update 16, which will be available in August. Additionally, the French developer announced that it’s looking into ways to tweak the Countdown experience beyond the difficulty options and make it more rewarding and enjoyable.
But wait, there’s more! Season 10 will introduce Legendary difficulty to the two remaining Strongholds, Tidal Basin and Manning National Zoo. Apart from that, Ubisoft will continue to support the game with new Apparel Events and updates focused on game health.
According to Ubisoft, quality-of-life improvements are a priority for Season 10 but expect more of these in both major updates. Furthermore, one of the new features that did not make it into the remaining Year 4 Seasons is the Spec Revamp. Ubisoft is still working on the feature and will only release it when it’s absolutely satisfied with the quality.
Besides the updates for The Division 2, which are expected to drop in August and December, the team at Red Storm Entertainment is also working on a new experience set within the Division universe, Tom Clancy’s The Division Heartland. The Division fans who’d like to participate in closed testing can register through the game’s website.
In related news, Ubisoft promised an update on The Division coming to mobile platforms in the very near future. The roadmap revealed today mentions that an announcement regarding the mobile game will be made public in the first half of July, so stay tuned for more on this one.
