The folks at Crema aren't afraid to admit that their upcoming game – Temtem is heavily inspired by Nintendo's creature-collecting Pokemon. We're not sure whether or not it's got Nintendo's approval, but the concept is similar, it's just the creatures that look very different compared to Pokemon.

What's really interesting is that Cream will bring Temtem to PC, so if you've been dying to catch some Pokemon or something close to that, you'll now be able to do that without having to have to purchase a Nintendo console.

Publisher Humble Bundle and developer Crema announced Temtem will arrive on PC on January 21st, 2020. The game raised $500,000 on Kickstarter and has over 36,000 Discord members, which is no wonder considering the formula draws inspiration from a world phenomenon such as Pokemon.

Temtem will be coming to Early Access though, so some features will not be available at launch. First off, it's worth mentioning that Temtem is a creature-collecting MMO that allows players to explore a world with their friends and make new ones along the way.

The developers promise to offer players many activities like battling, trading and collecting together with their friends in an ever-growing persistent world. The folks at Crema say Temtem is “built by fans for fans and seeks to answer the longest standing requests of the creature collecting community to build out an enjoyable, yet challenging, experience.”

If you're interested in the game, here are the fey features coming to Early Access next month: 20+ hour campaign with 4 Boss Dojos, fully co-op, 76 Temtem to catch and trade, full player customization, breeding system, Luma (shiny) Temtem, PvP battles, and 3 islands to explore.

In the future, developers plan to add 50% more story content, up to 161+ Temtem, 3 more islands, pick and ban ranked PvP, Mythical Temtem, player housing, player events and much more.
