Developer Artefacts Studio released a demo last month and from what we've seen, this seems to be a very fun, yet tactical game. Now we've learned that The Amulet of Chaos will be coming to PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and GOG on August 27.
The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos is a turn-based tactical RPG that amazes through humor and chaos. Players will be leading a ragtag company of unlikely heroes in an epic adventure across the dreadful dungeon of Naheulbeuk.
The game is set in the Naheulbeuk universe, which was created by French author John Lang. Neheulbeuk started as a popular audio comedy series parodying role-playing, tabletop games, and heroic fantasy tropes.
In The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos, you'll be able to play with seven classic role-playing game characters that don't take themselves too seriously, including Ranger, Elf, Dwarf, Barbarian, Magician, Ogre, and Thief.
Throughout their journey in the Naheulbeuk, players will fight more than 100 types of enemies. Also, the game features an adaptive difficulty system to accommodate both newcomers and veterans of the genre.
Developers promise and epic adventure while exploring a huge and surprising dungeon from the cave up to the luxury quarters of the evil lord Zangdar, passing through the goblin ice skating park and an extremely lively tavern. Expect bizarre conversations, deadly puzzles, an exciting main story, and loads of side quests.
Unfortunately, The Dungeon of Naheulbeuk: The Amulet of Chaos doesn't have a price yet, but fans of the tactical turn-based RPG genre can wishlist the game on Steam right now. Epic Games Store and GOG pre-orders will probably go live close to launch.
