Microsoft has announced the availability of new cumulative firmware and drivers pack targeted at its Surface Laptop and Surface Laptop 2 devices, namely the January 24 (2019) update, which improves the system’s overall stability via new file versions.

Specifically speaking, the current release installs new Surface Integration Service Device (4.18.139.0), Surface ME Firmware (11.8.56.3522), Surface System Aggregator (145.106.139.0), Surface Touch Firmware (145.106.139.0), and Surface UEFI Firmware (137.2439.769) packages.

In addition to that, Microsofts ensures the reliability of the Pen top button click on Surface Pen with no clip-on (for Windows 10 October 2018 Update) via its 3.0.10.1 System Devices version, and applies HIDClass 1.0.9.0 that enables firmware update for Surface Pen with no clip.

If you plan to upgrade to this release, you should know that this task can be carried out either automatically via Microsoft’s Windows Update service or manually by downloading and installing the package.

Even though the first approach is more accessible, take into account that not all Surface owners receive this new firmware at the same time as the producer provides every new update in stages. If you are anxious and want it now, apply it by manually saving and installing the appropriate file.

That said, download Microsoft Surface Laptop Firmware January 2019 or download Microsoft Surface Laptop 2 Firmware January 2019, install it, enjoy the new changes brought by this new release, and check our website as often as possible to stay “updated one minute ago.”
