Samsung is getting ready to launch a new version of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+.

As revealed by Roland Quandt on Twitter, the new red color for the two models will be called “Cardinal Red.” While the fresh Galaxy S10 is supposed to “come soon,” no other specifics are available right now.

The bright red version of the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ will join the existing options available in the entire lineup and which include Prism White, Prism Black, Prism Green, Prism Blue, Canary Yellow, and Flamingo Pink. Furthermore, the top-of-the-range Galaxy S10+ and the S10 5G are sold in Ceramic Black and Ceramic White as well.

Same specs and price

Most likely, the Cardinal Red version of the Galaxy S10 won’t come with a price increase and will hit the shelves with the same price tags as the existing configurations.

In the United States, the Galaxy S10 starts at $899.99 unlocked, while the Galaxy S10+ can be yours from $999.99 for the basic configuration with 128GB storage. A 5G version of the Galaxy S10 is also sold on Verizon for $1299.99.

The most affordable model, however, is the Galaxy S10e, which you can purchase unlocked from $749.99.

The technical specs of the Cardinal Red Samsung Galaxy S10 will obviously be the same as on the other models, so you’ll get the same choice of two processors (depending on where it is sold), internal storage options that go all the way up to 1TB, 3400 mAh battery on the standard Galaxy S10 (4100 mAh on the Galaxy S10+), and a maximum of 12GB of RAM.

Samsung is yet to confirm this new release, but an official announcement is expected any day now, along with full details about availability and pricing for each specific market where it goes on sale.
