Improvements for most components now available

Samsung launched Good Lock 2019 with support for OneUI and Android Pie last month, and now the company is hard at work on refining the experience with its customization app even further.

The most recent update was published in the Galaxy Store app earlier this week, and it brings a plethora of improvements for every single component in Google Lock.

As you can see in the screenshot attached to the article, there are new refinements for LockStar, QuickStar, TaskChanger, and NavStar, and the changelog points to both additional features and bug fixes.

For example, the updated LockStar version resolves a bug hitting the battery icons and addresses a glitch that caused the status bar to overlap with the front camera.

QuickStar, on the other hand, adds connected Bluetooth icon invisible feature, while also bringing app UI enhancement for several Samsung models.

As for TaskChanger, Samsung adds QuickScrub, which is a feature that makes it possible to move between recent apps using nothing more than a sliding gesture on the home button.

Frequent updates, limited availability

Despite receiving regular updates, Good Lock continues to be available only in specific regions, which is an awkward decision given that it brings so many advanced customization options to Samsung devices. There are several ways to install the app regardless of the country you live in, including VPN services, but I really can’t help but wonder why Samsung isn’t making it available for everyone.

In the meantime, the good news is that the South Korean firm is continuously working on new features and further refinements for the app, so nearly every single update comes with a massive changelog like the one today.

The new version of Good Lock 2019 is 1.0.00.48 and it can be downloaded either from the Samsung Galaxy Store app or from Softpedia if you want to get the APK and install it manually.
