Google is working around the clock on preparing for the launch of Android 13 for its devices, and at the same time, Android device makers are already gearing up for another round of major updates for their smartphones.

Samsung is obviously one of the biggest names involved in the global rollout of Android 13, so the company is now giving the finishing touches to its beta program ahead of a first build due in July.

According to SamMobile, the very first build of Android 13 for Samsung devices will land in the third week of July, and most likely, devices like the Galaxy S22, S22+, and S22 Ultra will be included in the rollout.

Android 13 beta coming

Of course, the program will expand to include more devices in the coming months, but for now, it will just focus on the latest Galaxy S models.

As for when the rollout of Android 13 would start for Samsung devices across the world, no such information is available for the time being, though it goes without saying you shouldn’t hold your breath for this highly anticipated moment.

Most likely, Samsung will begin the Android 13 rollout to the Galaxy S lineup in late 2022, and it’s believed October could witness the first wave of devices getting the update.

But of course, the timing could easily change depending on the problems that are encountered during the beta program. This is obviously the purpose of the beta program in the first place, as Samsung wants to make sure that everything is working properly on its devices before the production rollout begins.

Android 13 will also include a new OneUI version for Samsung devices. OneUI 5.0 will obviously come with massive improvements as well, so it’s easy to see why this is one of the most anticipated launches for Samsung users.
