The company says it’s working on dealing with stock issues

Samsung announced exciting new products earlier this month, and while all eyes are on the new Galaxy S22 (specifically on the Ultra model), a device that’s experiencing impressive success is none other than the Galaxy Tab S8 series.

The new tablet includes an Ultra version for the first time, and as it turns out, this new model is already a hit. The demand for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is so high that the pre-order program has so far been running at its max capacity, with Samsung eventually deciding to pause the program because it has no other units in stock.

In other words, the company didn’t just want to take more pre-orders and increase the waiting times, so following surprising demand for the tablet, Samsung decided to pause the program and therefore no longer receive any pre-orders for the device.

Samsung working on it

In a statement for XDA, Samsung says it’s working on dealing with these stock issues, but for the time being, there’s no ETA as to when the pre-order program could once again go online.

“We are thrilled by the consumer response to our new Galaxy Tab S8 lineup. Due to the overwhelming demand in the last 48 hours, we will be pausing preorders at Samsung.com for the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and Galaxy Tab S8. We are working quickly to meet consumer excitement and demand. Please stay tuned for more updates,” the company says. Needless to say, if you can’t wait to get your hands on a new Galaxy Tab S8, the only option right now is to just wait for the Ultra to re-become available as part of the pre-order program.

Otherwise, you can also pre-order the regular tablet (the non-Ultra model), though it’ll be interesting to see how long this one remains in stock as well.
