New ads put the focus on zooming capabilities

Samsung has always been a big fan of mocking others, and probably the first example that comes into everybody’s minds is the famous notch guy ad that was released when Apple took the wraps off the iPhone X.

As we know already, while the whole thing was pretty funny at first, Samsung ended up removing the ad because, you know, the company itself ended up using the notch on some of its models.

But the South Koreans are doing the same thing again, this time mocking Apple and the iPhone for their camera zooming capabilities.

In a couple of new ads, Samsung tries to embarrass the iPhone for its limited zoom ability, showing that the Galaxy S21 Ultra, which features a 100x zoom, is capable of taking much better pictures, even of the moon in total darkness.

“Your phone upgrade shouldn’t be a downgrade,” Samsung says, obviously suggesting that if you’re getting an iPhone 12, you’re actually missing out on the upgraded camera capabilities of the new Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra 5G.

Indeed, the Galaxy S21 Ultra is a monster phone when it comes to camera capabilities. The device is equipped with new-gen sensors, starting with a 108MP main camera that allows you to take stunning photos with impressive sharpness and color quality.

Then, there’s the 12MP ultra-wide lens, as well as the telephoto lens that offers a 100x digital zoom. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max, on the other hand, offers 2.5x optical zoom, whereas the Galaxy S21 Ultra offers 3x.

It remains to be seen if Samsung ends up removing these ads as well, but for now, you can also watch them embedded at the end of the article below.
