14 DAY TRIAL // Galaxy S10e is one of the three flagships that Samsung will unveil tomorrow, and as we discovered not a long time ago thanks to a detailed leak, the device will also be available in a bright color called Canary Yellow.
And an official poster leaked by Samsung itself (via GSMArena) provides us with a closer look at the shade of yellow that will be used on this model, so now we do have the confirmation: the Canary Yellow version will be so yellow that it’ll hurt your eyes, though, to be honest, I kind of like it.
These colored versions of the Galaxy S10e clearly showcase the purpose of the device. Samsung wants the base Galaxy S10 to be a rival to the Apple iPhone XR, and by making it available in a wide variety of colors, the company hopes it would attract more buyers.
And truth be told, there’s a good chance this is going to happen, not only because this color looks pretty cool, but also because of the poor sales that the iPhone XR records in the first place.
“Premium fun”
As for the leaked poster, it doesn’t reveal much. We already knew that the Galaxy S10e would come with two cameras on the back, and the photo also confirms that the fingerprint sensor is no longer placed on the back.
As compared to the Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+, which will both use fingerprint sensors embedded into the screen, the Galaxy S10e will come with such a reader on the side, most likely in a cost-saving effort to keep the price of the device as low as possible.
All three models of the Galaxy S10 lineup will be announced tomorrow at Samsung’s Unpacked event, and sales are projected to begin in early March.
