Reliable leakster claims this is the Unpacked event date

Samsung Galaxy S23 is the next big release in the mobile world, and while we’ve already seen the design of the new smartphones and people familiar with the matter leaked the technical specifications on several occasions, what we don’t know just yet is the launch date.

Originally, it was believed that Samsung wanted to launch the Galaxy S23 earlier than usual, with some sources claiming the Unpacked event could even take place in late December.

It’s pretty clear already that such a thing wouldn’t happen, so other people believed that a Galaxy S23 event taking place just before CES would make more sense.

This isn’t going to happen either, as Samsung should start sending invites just before the new year, so most likely, the company wants to stick with the typical schedule that it used in the past. In other words, we should expect to see the Galaxy S23 going live in February as well, as reliable leakster Ice Universe claims the date is already set in stone.

In other words, the Galaxy S23 could be unveiled as part of an Unpacked event due on February 1. If this is true, Samsung should begin to take pre-orders only a few days later, with the first units to ship by the end of the month.

Obviously, this is once again earlier than usual, as Samsung typically unveils Galaxy S models in mid-February, with the first units shipping to customers in the last days of the month.

This time, however, it looks like Samsung indeed wants to bring the device to the market earlier than usual, though it’s not yet clear if all models in the lineup are supposed to go on sale at the same time or the Ultra actually lands at a later time.

Needless to say, we should still take this information with a pinch of salt, as Samsung is yet to confirm the date.
