Samsung is projected to take the wraps off the Galaxy S23 lineup in early 2023, and given we’re only a few months away from the moment the unveiling is supposed to happen, we finally get the chance to see what the new model is going to look like.

Renders published by reliable leaker OnLeaks show the Galaxy S23 Ultra in all its glory, and at first glance, there’s little to be excited about this time.

This is because the Galaxy S23 Ultra doesn’t seem to come with too many upgrades, as in terms of design, there’s almost nothing different versus the Galaxy S22 Ultra.

Most likely, the South Koreans will stick with upgrades under the hood, so expect new internals, a larger battery, and improved cameras.

Launch in January?

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series could see the daylight earlier than anticipated, as Samsung apparently wants to bring the devices to the market as soon as possible.

People familiar with the matter talk about a two or three weeks earlier release, which means the Galaxy S23 could be announced at some point in January. If this happens, then the actual sales could kick off in early February as well.

At this point, it looks like Samsung’s new smartphone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, and there’s a chance the availability of this version would be expanded to more markets across the world, including those that previously received only the Exynos.

Previously, it’s been rumored that Samsung could drop the Exynos version altogether, but now it seems that it will be sold alongside the Snapdragon. Of course, this is something that’s yet to be confirmed by Samsung itself, but such details will probably leak in the coming months as we approach the official launch expected in early 2023.
