14 DAY TRIAL // Samsung is working on several fronts right now, and one of the most exciting products likely just around the corner is the new Galaxy S22 lineup.
Expected to land in late January or early February, the Galaxy S22 will obviously come with several design and hardware improvements, and a rending published by Evan Blass this week provides us with a closer look at this redesigned model.
This design has already been previewed on several occasions, so the rendering doesn’t come up as a big surprise. However, it confirms what we already knew: Samsung is working on redesigned cameras, with the phone overall looking a lot more modern.
The Ultra model will once again support S Pen input, just like its predecessor.
Still a flagship
While Samsung is betting more and more on foldable devices, the Galaxy S lineup will continue to be a high-end model in all regards.
However, the South Koreans keep praising the performance of its foldable devices, and this suggests this is the category that will represent the company’s main focus in the long term.
“As more consumers become aware of foldables’ incredible potential, interest in the category will continue to grow. With a variety of innovations set to make their way to consumers in the coming years, Samsung will continue to lead the foldable category with even more pioneering technology,” it says.

Compared to the Galaxy Note20, Samsung has seen a 150 percent increase in consumers who switched smartphone brands for the Galaxy Z Flip3, and a 140 percent increase compared to the Galaxy S21.”
The Galaxy S22 should see the daylight in late January or early February, while the sales are projected to begin a week or two later.
