Note 10 expected to launch in the summer of 2019

Samsung has only recently launched the Galaxy Note 9, but it appears that the company is thinking in advance and already beginning work on the next generation.

The Galaxy Note 10 is expected to launch in approximately one year, and according to Twitter user @UniverseIce, who has a good track on Samsung scoops, it’s codenamed Da Vinci.

This is pretty much the first Galaxy Note 10 leak, and although it may seem like it’s not revealing too many details at first, it could be an indication that major changes are on their way.

This codename makes sense especially if Samsung focuses more on the S Pen drawing capabilities for this new-generation phone, so major improvements in this regard are likely to be made.

Improved S Pen

Samsung has already brought some substantial upgrades to the S Pen with the Note 9, including Bluetooth support for remote actions like camera control, and more new features are projected to see daylight next year.

The Note 10 will probably be a lot similar to the Galaxy S10+, which is projected to launch in early 2019. Samsung Galaxy S and Note phone already share the same hardware, sometimes with small exceptions, and this is likely to continue next year too.

The S10 will be the first phone in Samsung’s lineup to boast a fingerprint sensor embedded into the screen, and the Note 10 will probably adopt this tech as well. For the Note 9, the fingerprint sensor was moved right under the camera modules in a more natural position.

Needless to say, it’s way too early to tell whether all these guesses are accurate or not, so every little bit of info on the Note 10 should be certainly taken with a healthy dose of skepticism. Its debut will take place in the summer of the next year, so we’re still very far from this moment.
